About Cherie's

The Roots

Cherie's was started because the founder, Ms Cherie, believes that all children can learn, but 'Every Child [learns at] A Different Pace'. At Cherie's, we strive to nurture all children to be independent learners through embracing challenges and partnering parents. They are capable of scaling all 'obstacles' in front of them.

Having worked with children of different specific learning differences (i.e. Dyslexia, mild ADHD, Language Delay), Ms Cherie is inspired by their desire to excel in school but also empathises with the frustrations that they - and their parents - feel on a daily basis. 

​

At Cherie's, we don't simply provide 'tuition'; because underlying issues faced by children with dyslexia and other learning differences are not addressed by general tutors, drill-and-practice is ineffective. Instead, we work with our students to Explore their learning needs. With deeper understanding, we work together to customise the lessons and strive to Excite them. With time, we hope to see them Excel in their learning.

Ms Cherie offers her extensive experience and knowledge to help you in your dyslexic child's English and Chinese Languages for pre-school and primary level:
